On the initiative of the President of the Labor Congress and Secretary General of the Confederation of Workers of Mexico and of the Workers ‘ Representatives before the National Minimum Wages Commission (CONASAMI, for its Spanish initials), and with the support of the employers’ sector and of the Mexican Government, The Council of Representatives of CONASAMI decided to review the current amount of the general minimum wage.

As a result of this review, on December 4, 2024 the National Minimum Wages Commission announced the increase in the general minimum wage, which is applicable to the entire Mexican Republic.

The increase will be applicable from January 1, 2025, and is made up of the following components:

$419.88 Northern Border Zone
